No Wednesday out again this week.

Thursday will be watercolor and oils at 1:30.

Friday afternoon at 1:30 pastels.

Interiors are on the agenda for Friday.

Thursday pattern, like lace and woven baskets.

New classes will start in mid-October. Until then it is a drop-in basis. Let me know if you're coming so I can shift to make more room. More information later.

Weehawken Arts of Ouray has a pastel workshop with Sally Strand in September. There are still openings. She is a great teacher. In fact they need more participants. Go to www.weehawkenarts.org for more information.

Week of July 30 to Aug 5

There will not be a Wednesday out this Wednesday, nor next. I'm sure the mosquitoes and rain showers will miss us--oh and the hail. But we have had fun, and got some good work. The wildflowers are stunning on the mesa. This year has been kind, if not late, for the blooms.

Classes as usual Thursday afternoon, and Friday. Saturday open, that's July 31, Aug.1 and 2.

I expect we will try Wed. out later in August. Classes will be open for watercolor and oil on Thursdays, Pastel and bookmaking on Fridays.

I was so hoping to paint on Land's End, but it is closed due to Kannah/Coal Creek fires.

Wednesday will be Kizer Creek on the old Land's End Road or there-abouts. I haven't been up there so I don't know the situation. We'll do an afternoon, starting around one at the gallery. Let me know where to meet you if you don't join the car pool. that's one on Wednesday.

Cedars Edge Gallery will be closed two weeks in July, the First and third week. Calsses on the 2nd and 4th weeks will be continued from the last session, on frop-in.Watercolor and oil on Thursday afternoons. Pastel on Friday Pastel. $15.00 a session. Wednesday's out include Bette's beach on the 9th, and Land's End on the 23rd. Call for more information or e-mail. Have a good 4th. Draw and paint and sculpt well. Barb

From 'outside' sources I hear Land's End is not even opened yet. The road goes back thirty feet and stops in the snow. Soooo, Our next Wednesday out will be Escalante Canyon July 25. Susi, I said 8 a.m. but let's make it noon to leave. We'll go to Captain Smith's Cabin. There is shelter there and the cabin is fun to paint. More rocks.

This Wednesday out will be at Bette's house 20921 Surface Creek Road. Please call me for directions, at 856-4616, or e-mail. We'll meet there at 2 in the afternoon. The site is on Milk Creek. Lovely.

Thursday afternoon is watercolor and oil at the gallery, at 1:30...Friday morning is Bookmaking, (no, not a hot day at the track) Friday afternoon at 1:30 pastels. Each class is a separate entity, not dependent on prior classes, so come along.
